Kathy Batzinger - Head Receptionist

Kathy has lived in the Capital District all of her life. She is a 1994 graduate of Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School. After high school, she attended Siena College where she majored in Political Science and minored in History. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999. Kathy began working for Dr. Bogaard when the practice was Country Knolls Animal Hospital in 2001 and spent the next seven years learning all she could about animals. Fortunately for us, she decided to stay on board when Dr. Cooper bought the clinic and Dr. Bogaard retired! Currently, Kathy is without a pet, but gets plenty of love from Norm and Millie at work. When she is not at work, Kathy enjoys reading, attending hockey games and traveling. Some of her favorite destinations include Canada, Washington DC, England and of course- Walt Disney World!

 

 

Tina Lynch LVTG

Tina has lived in the Capital district her whole life. She graduated from Shenendehowa high school in 1999. Tina graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program at Wilson College in Pennsylvania in 2003. She then completed the required examinations to become a Licensed Veterinary Technologist (LVTG). She joined Clifton Park Veterinary Clinic in May of 2003. As part of her duties, Tina monitors and assists in surgery and dentals, and plays a key role in follow-up care for some of our chronic care patients, routinely discussing patient progress with pet owners and reporting her findings back to the appropriate veterinarian. Tina plays a major role in helping our practice closely monitor and fine-tune treatment protocols. Her special interests include animal behavior and behavior problems and continuing education. Tina currently lives in Clifton Park with her family – her husband, 2 boys, 2 cats (Miles and Tut), and 1 dog (Peso). Tina and her husband are foster parents with Schenectady County DSS. She also devotes her spare time to advancing the recognition of Licensed Veterinary Technicians.

 

 

Rachael Schenkel

Rachael Schenkel has lived in the capital region her whole life. She graduated from Guilderland High School in 2012. Rachael Graduated from HVCC in 2015 with her associates degree in individual studies, and then went on to achieve her associates degree, in Veterinary Technology in 2019. She joined Clifton Park Veterinary Clinic in January 2020. Rachael is also a part of the ladies auxiliary at North Bethlehem FD, and bowls in a league. Rachael currently lives in Guilderland with her parents, 2 dog (Bailey and Brandy), and 1 cat (Tiki).

 

Tiffany Hulka

Tiffany has lived in Saratoga Springs her entire life and graduated from Schuylerville High School in 2012. From there she went on to get her Bachelors Degree in Animal Science from Cornell University in 2016. She returned home to the family beef cattle farm shortly thereafter and enjoys helping her dad out with the herd. When she’s not working Tiffany likes to spend her time reading, relaxing with friends and enjoying the outdoors. At home she gets lots of love from her cats, siblings Oliver and Dutchess.

 

Jeanette Coon

Jeanette has lived in the Lake George area her whole life. She graduated from Ticonderoga High School in 2014. She first attended SUNY Adirondack, graduating in 2017 with her Associates Degree in Police Science. She then went back to SUNY Adirondack to get her Associates in Veterinary Technology, and will be returning to SUNY Canton in the fall to finish out her degree. Jeanette enjoys being outdoors, traveling and horseback riding. Jeanette loves all animals, but especially her dogs Maya and Caesar.

 

Nathan Swinton

Nathan is from Schuylerville, NY. He was a member of the FFA Schuylerville Chapter. He graduated from Schuylerville Central School in 2017 and went on to enroll in SUNY Adirondack’s 1+1 Veterinary Science Technology Program with SUNY Canton. He is anticipating his graduation from SUNY Canton with an A.A.S. in Veterinary Science Technology in May of 2020. While in school, he adopted a rabbit named Gatsby and his dog named Thelma. Nathan has a special interest in Emergency & Critical Care and Exotics. He also enjoys educating clients about veterinary medicine. One of Nathan’s dreams is to visit local schools and educate students about the veterinary profession.

 

Katie Prevendoski

Katie grew up in upstate New York and at a young age found her love for animals. Katie attended Utica College and lived in South Carolina for a number of years before returning home to the capital district. Katie now lives in Ballston Lake with her son DeKorie and cat Britney. In her free time, you will find Katie camping, sitting down with a good book or exploring her creative side painting, sewing and crafting.

 

Alexis Gregoire

Alexis has lived in Clifton Park her whole life. She is a 2019 graduate of Shenendehowa Central High School. She currently is working on her undergraduate degree in Biology at SUNY Binghamton. Alexis then plans to continue on to Veterinary school. She has a deep love for all animals, including her cat (Jackson) and her three bunnies (Thumper, Kiki, and Mabel). In her free time, Alexis loves taking photos of her friends and family, traveling, watching movies, and using her dissecting microscope. She loves helping others and cannot wait until she can help animals stay happy and healthy.
